I love Firefox. But, it's about damn time to remove the scroll bars on Mac OS X. This was a Lion feature and we're almost two versions removed from that.

The scrollbars are fixed in version 23. Download Firefox Beta, Aurora, or Nightly and you will get them :)

That's fantastic! I guess it's coming in July or August?

Yup, Firefox is on a 6-week release cycle so it should be in the first week of August. (Right now 22 is "release", 23 is "beta", 24 is "aurora" and 25 is "nightly".)

23 is early August. https://wiki.mozilla.org/RapidRelease/Calendar has all the dates.

Not a whole lot of Mac OSX dev's contributing to the project these days. Doing what we can.

Actually, it's more "not a whole lot of MacOSX devs contributing to the UX these days." Plenty of MacOS X devs contributing everywhere else.

They're in Nightly[1]. I've been running UX nightly[2] for the new tab design for a few months with little to no issues with stability.

The UI looks identical to me. It's supposed to be like this right? http://people.mozilla.com/~shorlander/files/australis-design...

Yes, roughly. I used the Mac version at home this morning. I haven't used the Linux one for a couple weeks, but it looked like that when I did.

You're sure you're using the UX nightly? The normal nightly doesn't have the new tab design.

I did. My old firefox instance must've been lingering around and then the remote behavior made it just launch a new window in that.

I generally put the scrollbars back in on my OSX installation.
