Sometimes they just spelled slightly different in Ukrainian language, but on Russian speaking websites Russian version are used. Volodymyr - Vladimir, Anton - Anton (same spelling).

This might be true of Ukraine, yet you see this across all of the Eastern Bloc, where the names are not similar, not just Ukraine.
