I really didn't know how bad this was after Win 10. I just need an OS now that's out of the box 100% compatible with 90% of Windows software when Windows 10 support dies.

I've been happily using Linux for over a decade and never had to deal with any of this shit. Avoid Ubuntu though. Canonical is the Microsoft of Linux.
