Samsung builds the Galaxy Nexus, which has a 316 ppi display.

Now, we still have a way to go before high ppi displays are ubiquitous, but there you have one example at least :)



The Galaxy Nexus uses pentile subpixel rendering, which is a system with slightly controversial ways of determining the PPI.
