I never see people recommend it or talk about it but its been perfect for me. I wonder if theres been new developments that make other fonts better, or if its just a little old and not promoted anymore. Meslo LGS was my go-to for years! At some point I've lost my heart to Iosevka Mono for terminal work and both Ligalex Mono (ligatures-enabled IBM Plex Mono fork) and JetBrains Mono, though.
