It's pretty easy to grab some open source project from Gitlab, alter the commit history to pretend it's all you who wrote it and uploading it to Github. You can also grab some inconsequential JS library, change the name, and publish it to NPM.

If you're putting in the effort to take your resumé, you might as well fill out a fake Github. After all, the "hiring experts" only seem to care about the code you've pretended to write.
