Hmm. Perhaps it's not as simple as "if it works here, it will work there."



It’s never that simple, but we should examine and learn from what they do, and try it if it seems likely to work.


I agree. Culture plays a role, especially in places like Singapore. Similarly (for good or bad) in the US, especially based on our history and Constitution.
