I have been running pi-hole on a raspberry for years with no downtime, op is either pitching for the DNS provider or they have not deployed their pi-hole correctly.

My only financial relationship with NextDNS is the $40 I've spent on the service so far. Another comment mentioned turning off query logging since that amount of activity is hard on an SD card, so you may be onto something with deploying it incorrectly

MOVEit has been a vector for several high profile bank and government breaches in the last few months. I really have to wonder why anyone is still using their services after yet another security incident.

Another observation about the band saw cut...

I don't think that was an indication of weak penetration into the wood. The solution did not darken until later in the process and that means it was penetrating back into the material after it had changed color.

I encountered one of these about a year ago at a random stop for drinks. All the complaints about them are right on the mark.

If I see cooler screens. You will never see me in that store again.

Atlassian had a cloud outage a few years ago that took some clients down for days.

Not even considering moving to that dumpster fire.

They have EOL'ed most of their self hosting products. I don't think you can buy a new self host license anymore.

Even if you could, you wouldn't. Self-hosted will lose maintenance support and you'll need to then move to the cloud anyway.

The timelines and competing consoles presented in the article are all out of order. I get the overall point they were trying to make, but that was a painful read.
