I'm assuming that a large portion of the userbase are people looking to lucid dream. Would love to see the ability for people to be able to tag lucid dreams. It'd be awesome to get some graphs and analytics about how soon after the average user started using the service they had their first lucid dream. Also, would be cool to see some twilio text message integration.
Cheers on a cool product & nice MVP. I'm psyched that you promote the ability to be able to export your data.
When I was contracting, I used FreshBooks to manage billable hours.
Now, I judge it by items checked off my todo list. Sometimes I use the Pomodoro technique, which is an excellent tool for keeping focus. When using the Pomodoro technique, I tally the number of pomodoros for each task, allowing me to get a good sense of my productivity with the added benefit of helping me understand how long each task took.
Overall, I dig the site and like the map-centric interface. I like the sqft cost per year, and recognize that an awesome thing to calculate and filter on.
I'd really like to be able to "click into" the actual Streetview to be able to rotate around on a listing page. It looks like the auto-grabbed images aren't always the most useful representation. Also -- I immediately found the two Google Maps images on the listing page to be kind of an eye sore with each having the Google logo and trademark.
Best of luck to ya'll, the site is off to a pretty awesome start.
Every ORM should allow for easily seeing the SQL queries which it is generated. With this, a discerning programmer is able to recreate the SQL calls as if it were the application, as well as often do an overview to make sure the SQL calls make sense and are efficient. If one keeps tabs on what is being generated, and understands what's going on behind the scenes, ORMs can be excellent for code readability.
Granted, I do appreciate the commentary and think the best point is that it is important to be able to know how to leverage the tools of your specific DBMS when appropriate. This is a huge thing that is often overlooked with novice programmers who jump into ORMs.
