I find that very obvious too. It started (visibly) shortly after the Opus 4.6 hype.

Which is paywalled, so thanks for posting it here.

Nothing of that email is new to me, and I didn't read the login-walled part which was like the third paragraph onward or something (I think it said it's free to read once you sign up, so not a paywall, but yeah either way)

We are quite happy with bunny(.net) stream. Very affordable and easy to use

Try Bunny Stream, really super simple and affordable

Munich seems to have become the preferred destination for US companies opening their German office (most recent: OpenAI, Notion, Anthropic).

So if Microsoft would have paved that way, it would have been totally worth it for the city.

For me apps like Opal work really well.

Opal is incredibly helpful for me. Exactly the right amount of control and annoyance to get me off social media.

Opal's ads were very good actually. I got targeted ones on Instagram Reels and they legitimately made me uninstall everything that wasn't serving me. Ironically I never installed Opal, but their marketing team really did me a solid.

This will be missed and was a really nice growth hack. The following scenario just worked so well:

- Setting up phone for relatives

- Replacing Android Messages with Signal

- “So this is the App to send and receive SMS, and you can also send me and many others secure and free messages on there”

My optimism for Signal becoming mainstream just faded...

There’s a really good Podcast from FT on the payment issues with porn. It’s more complicated than the chargeback rates. If you want to go down that rabbit hole: https://www.ft.com/content/762e4648-06d7-4abd-8d1e-ccefb74b3... The podcast is quite a nice history wrap-up on online payments. Episode 8 addresses the current situation with credit card companies most detailed.
