I have been doing freelance development for 17 years and I've found myself generally bidding from the largest time increment downward for myself and any subs. I.E. Monthly, weekly and daily. Never hourly.

Does your contract specify a daily hour limit and number of days in month? Just curious how you handle overtime and time off etc.

I concur! I've been going knee deep in experimenting with this over the weekend. I like the ala carte approach if that's the right way to describe it.

Not who, but what. Fate and/or hard and smart work determine who gets the wealth. Don't worry about it and get busy and be persistent. Right?

Harry Reid is as crooked as a dog's hind leg. In fact, that democrat putz is so crooked they'll have to screw him into the ground when he dies. Anyway, I hope his buddy Robert Bigelow the male gigolo finds something interesting and shares his wares because something's going on up there.

Please stop posting uncivil, unsubstantive comments to HN. You're welcome here, but comments like this are not, regardless of how bad some other people may be.

And we need food that isn't grown by big farming. And we need news that isn't reported by big journalism. And we need entertainment that isn't produced by big Hollywood. And we need government that isn't...wait, we need big government. Never mind.

LOL! I got fired from a project for making this argument. OMG, just get your data from sql statements or some sort of cache and be done with it...wtf.
