It is over the phone transaction, seller was missing a digit each time and was not able to process. I trusted my credit card than Paypal, credit card helped me with a issue earlier.
But again, this is not about trust. Its about the eBay customer service response/arrogance.
What is ebay supposed to do for you? They can't verify the transaction, so it'd be foolish of them to start issuing refunds from their own coffers. They can't force the seller to refund (as far as I understand).
I'm going off-topic about the perceived arrogance. I'm just curious about what you expected ebay to do.
This is great advise. You have an idea, tell it to technical person (you do not learn to code, lazy), make the idea a 'technical' challenge (focus on wrong thing) and get stuck in 'technology creates a market'. Create a marketplace and use technology to scale it.
This is a very general comment. Not all programmers and Analyst/PM are of same quality. Check niche area's - e.g. HFT programming, can PM/Analyst get close? No way.
A programmer who updates his skills frequently have a good chance of staying on top.
