Depending on where you are in the world, earthquakes are much rarer then insane storms. I'm speaking as a Floridian. I'm fairly ignorant on this issue, but would it be that difficult to use one or the other depending on which natural occurrence is more likely? Or is this also a cost issue?
"The North Carolina Utilities Commission

cost more than $41 billion, resulting in a 125 percent increase in customer rates."
Another TODO list app? When I looked at the website it seemed like the main value proposition was that my TODO list will be everywhere. Countless apps already do this though so I don't understand how this one is better.
I've been using the beta for a month or two now, and I must say that I'm impressed. I didn't think I'd like the new shell in Gnome 3, but I don't have any complaints and is actually pretty slick. I'm running it on a T420 and it supports all the hardware perfectly and seems to get better battery life than Kubuntu (Maybe different kernel version or something...).
I love being able to install any needed development tools with a simple "sudo yum install".
From what I hear unpaid internships are common for law students as well. It would be interesting to do more research on this, but I suspect unpaid internships happen in any field that has a surplus of workers. The tech industry doesn't have this problem so most internships are paid.
